I have never left a negative review before, and I have visited numerous spas and wellness centers throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had.
I originally came because I saw an advertisement promoting special pricing on laser treatments. My intention was simply to try the service, but I immediately felt pressured into purchasing a package. I almost declined because the sales pressure was so uncomfortable.
Before starting treatment, I informed the manager that I had recently undergone lower back surgery and that I have an implanted pain-management device that was turned off. I had already been cleared for treatment because they were only treating my legs and were not going anywhere near my lower back.
When I arrived for my third appointment, I was wearing a small suction drain due to an abscess near my surgical incision. The drain was completely outside the treatment area and was being actively managed by my doctor. The manager suddenly informed me that they would not provide treatment without additional medical clearance. I even showed her a doctor’s clearance that had been provided for other medical appointments, but she refused to accept it.
What frustrated me most was that they were not treating anywhere near my spine or surgical site. I asked why they couldn’t simply proceed with the treatment on my legs, and I never received a reasonable explanation.
The situation was especially disappointing because the laser treatments had actually been helping my nerve pain. I was looking forward to some relief and relaxation. However, once I purchased the package, the entire attitude of the staff seemed to change. They became noticeably less friendly and accommodating.
Another issue was the treatment length. During my consultation, I was told that future laser sessions would be longer than the initial treatment. Instead, my second treatment lasted only about 20 minutes and was significantly shorter than the first session. That felt very misleading.
When I requested a refund for the unused portion of the package, I was shocked to learn that I was being charged approximately $600 for the two treatments I had received. After researching comparable services throughout the Dallas area, I found that similar laser treatments generally cost around $250–$300 per session. Charging roughly $400 per treatment simply because I canceled the package feels excessive and unreasonable.
Overall, I felt pressured into purchasing services, treated differently after I paid, and penalized when I requested a refund. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this facility.
